ipmath was inspired by a) my frustration at having to continually
re-evolve the math necessary to determine the broadcast address
and network mask every time my office changed, and b) someone
on a Linux mailing list looking for the same thing.  So I
wrote a Perl script to do the math, and then made it usable
from the Web as well without modification, and here it is.

things at me, please.  I've found this useful and so I offer
it in the hope that someone else -- you, maybe -- might also
find it useful.
