mklicence was originally developed to manage multiple output formats of software licence text (hence the name). However, it has become somewhat more powerful than that, so the name is no longer terribly apropos. However, no really appropriate new name has sprung forth..
mklicence transforms input text into software comments, such as /* comment */ or the like. It supports symbol definition, redefinition, interpolation, conditional processing, literal text, and include files. For more information about it, see the man page, which is reproduced at the bottom of this page.
